Nepal is the most beautiful and stunning Himalayan country in the world with its splendid nature and rich culture. It is claimed as one of the best sightseeing destination among the tourists with all its varied language, tradition and unique hospitality of the people inhabited in the countryside. Nepal occupies a terrain which forms the core of the great Himalaya. The stark beauty and raw appeal of its wide and sweeping river valleys among the largest and most scenic in the world and fold upon fold of towering mountains draws hordes of eager tourists from all over the world. A concentration of the highest mountain peaks on earth to its north defines its borders with Tibet. Some of the grandest religious and historical monuments in the world many of which have been conferred World Heritage site status are also located in Nepal. The spectacular beauty of the landscape must have been an important factor which influenced the evolution of extravagant culture, time tested customs and traditions that are very much apart of the lives of the people of Nepal even today.

The amazing & magnificent sight of the Himalayas, a diversity of beautiful landscape, all are beyond human imagination. Though small in size, it is known in the world as a nation of color and contrasts-a hidden Shangri-La of nature, culture and adventure. In the countryside the way of life is still traditional, nature is at its best, high mountains and lush valleys are ideal places for trekking and mountaineering, flora and fauna invites a nature lover for a rendezvous with them. Nepal is rich with traditions of art and culture and Kathmandu, the capital city, is a treasure house of ancient art and culture.

Nepal-Bhutan Tour Itinerary

Day 01: Arrive Kathmandu.
Arrive Kathmandu. Meet/assist at Kathmandu airport by us and transfer to Hotel. PM: Rest. Dinner and Overnight Hotel.

Day 02: Kathmandu.
It’s an experience not to be missed – wake up in the early morning to witness the beautiful sunrise outlook from the hotel before breakfast serving. The next, we head for Kathmandu and keep half day valley sightseeing’s with Kathmandu Durbar Square, the place of the Malla and then the Shah Kings of Nepal, visiting Kumari Temple, house of the virgin goddess, visiting Swoyambhunath, a stupa on the top of hill – from here you can overlook the scenery of Kathmandu Valley and another half day Visit to Patan city, famous city features of arts and crafts – the highlight of trip is the Shikara (Krishna Temple), Patan Durbar with Royal bath, Hiranya Varna Mahavir (Buddhist Monastery). O/N at Hotel.

Day 03. Mountain Flight, Bhaktapur & Nagarkot

Everest Scenic flight is the best flight to see the Everest region by flight. This scenic flight will be for one hour. Even if you have already seen Mt. Everest during your Everest region trek, it is a great experience to do the mountain flight. This is the thing that you will not miss while you are in Kathmandu. You will be just 200 meters away from Mt. Everest and many other mountains. This will be great experience for life. One of our staff picks you up from hotel and takes you to the airport for mountain flight departure. After completing the mountain flight, you will be brought back to hotel. We will check out the hotel and we will go Bhaktapur tour on the way to Nagarkot. Nagarkot is situated about 35Km. east of Kathmandu city and from here one can see a fantastic view of the Himalayas. Nagarkot is located at 2229 m. elevation from the sea level. In the afternoon you will see an excellent view of sunset. While sun goes down you will see a very beautiful color on the snow Peak Mountains. In the morning you have to get up early in the morning to see the sunrise. You may arrange a wake up call at the hotel reception before you go to bed.

Day 04:  Sightseeing in Patan & Fly to Pokhara

You will have your breakfast with beautiful sunrise and we will leave from here to Nagarkot to Patan, which is another city, where you will visit the famous Krishna Temple and the Golden Gate. After completing the tour in Patan we will drive to Kathmandu domestic airport and fly to Pokhara. This flight’s duration is 30 minute only. We will take a taxi/car to Lake side of Pokhara and check in hotel. You can explore the evening in beautiful Pokhara lake side.

Day 05: Pokhara Explore

Today, we will take a taxi/car to Sarankot for nice view of mountains. Our car/taxi will drop you off at the lower viewpoint. The road is not accessible to the top viewpoint. You may do an one hour optional hike to the tower. We will back to Lakeside and explore around the lake. You may do boating on the lake and visit other places.

You may take (15 minutes, 30 minutes and 1hour) ultrahigh aircraft flight here in Pokhara to see more is this area. This flight is another interesting thing to do in Pokhara.

Day 06. Drive or fly back to Kathamandu

We will take morning flight or bus ride to Kathmandu. Finish the last bit shopping and prepare for next day departure.

Day 07: Kathmandu – Paro (Bhutan) by Druk Air or Bhutan Airlines

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Bhutan; window seat in the aircraft allows you wonderful view of Himalayan scenery. Flying along the Himalayan range, it is a breathtaking journey, culminating in an exciting descent past forested hills into the kingdom.You will be received by the representative of TLF Holidays at the airport; completion of visa/immigration and customs formalities, transfer to the hotel. Evening visit a Bhutanese traditional Farm House and stroll in Paro town. Overnight Hotel

Day 08: Day hike to Takshang Monastery

An excursion to view & visit the spectacular Takshang Monastery. “Takshang” literally means Tiger’s Nest.  The Monastery is believed to have been built in 1684 on the spot where Guru Rimpoche (founder of Buddhism in Bhutan) flew on the back of a Tigress and meditated to subdue the demons in Paro valley. The trail to the Monastery climbs through beautiful pine forest, many of the trees festooned with Spanish moss and an occasional grove of fluttering prayer flags. This incredible Monastery clings vertically to the edge of a granite rock cliff that plunges 900 meters above the valley floor. Lunch at Takshang Cafeteria; visit Taa Dzong, the national museum of Bhutan & Rimpong Dzong. Later drive to Thimphu & evening at leisure in town;dinner and overnight at Hotel

Day 09 – Thimphu-Punakha

Early breakfast and drive to Punakha across Dochula Pass (Alt.3050 M). If weather is clear, you can have spectacular view of the snowcapped Himalayan mountain peaks from the pass. Continue drive to Punakha and stop at Missina to take a short walk to visit Chimmi Lhakhang, a monastery of fertility which is regarded as a pilgrimage site for barren couple. After lunch visit Punakha Dzong; a historic Dzong that looks like a ship between two rivers Pho Chu and Mo Chu. Later visit the new Khuru township and stroll around at leisure. Dinner & overnight Hotel

Day 10: Punakha – Thimphu

Early breakfast and sightseeing- Visit Punakha Dzong, Khuru town, Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten, Chhimi Lhakhang (a pilgrimage site for barren couple), Wangdiphodrang Dzong. Lunch at a local restaurant in Wangdiphodrang and drive back to Thimphu

Day 11: Thimphu Sightseeing

Full day sightseeing: visit Memorial Chorten, Changangkha Monastery, Zilukha Nunnery,  National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, Zorig Chosum (Painting School) and Buddha’s point for view of Thimphu valley.Lunch at Bhutan Kitchen and continue sightseeing – visit Handicraft Emporium & Bhutanese Hand Made Paper factory.Evening visit Tashichhodzong, the central secretariat building that houses the office & thrown room of the King and leisure time in town. Dinner & overnight at Hotel

Day 12: Departure

Early breakfast and transfer to Paro Int’l Airport for departure
